Do we need to register a Justice Party in Connecticut?
I have been writing and publishing articles as a progressive, attacking President Obama for reneging on all of his campaign promises for change. I was waiting for a progressive Democrat to challenge Obama in a primary: where are they?
Not one soul in the Democratic party would challenge the establishment: that is, Wall Street's control over both political parties. With all of the inequities in our government, it has been very discouraging not to see one honest, concerned government official step forward and hold President Barack Obama accountable for his agreeing to the Bush tax cut extension, the egregious estate tax reduction, the failure to even propose a single-payer healthcare system, Obama's bailout of Wall Street instead of Main Street, his selection of Wall Streeters as his top economic advisors, his failure to propose re-enactment of Glass-Steagall, his failure to exercise a recess appointment of Elizabeth Warren, his failure to fight for the middle class, his willingness to cut social security and medicare and medicaid in the deficit negotiations, the continued military presence in the middle east, his failure to veto the defense authorization act, etc., etc., etc.
It's time to throw this bum out of office and elect a real progressive. I tried to start a middle class party in Connecticut but could not even obtain 25 signatures to register the party.
Who will join me in Connecticut to register the Justice Party in Connecticut and get candidates to run for office?
