Please Help Rocky Get on the Ballot in all 50 States

One of the obstacles Rocky Anderson and the Justice Party face is successfully navigating through the ballot access laws that differ from state to state. One thing all these laws have in common is the sole purpose of these laws is to make it difficult for new political parties and independent Presidential candidates to gain ballot access. There are a few states that have more lenient ballot access laws. For example, Rocky Anderson has already gained ballot access in Mississippi.

Currently, Walter Mason who is the Chair of the Justice Party’s Ballot Access Committee is handling all communications with individuals in the 50 states who are trying to get the Justice Party on the ballot in each of their respective states. The size of the task and the large numbers of individuals with whom Walter must communicate has created a communications logjam.

The only way to break that logjam is to immediately find volunteers to help Walter communicate with local organizers in the various states. In some states, local volunteers have not yet appeared. So volunteers are needed to “shake the bushes” in those states to find local organizers who will then set up state committees to help Rocky get on the ballot  

What is involved if I volunteer?

Walter Mason will supervise the volunteers who will be helping him out. Due to the fluid nature of the ballot access campaign, the priorities of what the volunteers will be doing is likely to change on a day-by-day basis. Most of the work the volunteers will be doing will occur over the phone. If you have computer skills, organizational skills, or experience working on projects similar to Rocky’s 50-state ballot access campaign, then Walter will certainly take advantage of those skills.

How do I know if I am qualified?

Volunteers should be politically knowledgeable, enthusiastic about getting Rocky Anderson and the Justice party on the ballot in all 50 states, possess excellent communications skills, and be able to function in a hectic environment. Walter Mason cannot take time away from his duties to conduct on-the-job training. So be ready to hit the ground running.  This is a sensitive position where your behavior and actions can either reflect negatively or positively on Rocky Anderson and the Justice Party. The campaign to gain ballot access for Rocky Anderson and the Justice Party must not fail. The stakes are too high for our nation and its people.
